![]() It's the most "cult" game in Valve's library. Don't miss the classical vibe of this late 00s shooter that still remains underappreciated, and a bit of a cult classic. You can get both games for a pittance when there's a Valve sale. Some people will tell you to skip this and just get the second one instead. Ellis could work, but his Texan drawl doesn't match Zoey's accent, so they couldn't be siblings. They could've had a simple workaround for this, They could've had Zoey be Nick's younger sister (Reveal happening in L4D2) and the story explained backwards from there. I feel Zoey is lacking in this department, we just don't know a lot about her. When Bill asks Francis: "Son, is there anything you don't hate?", it makes me laugh on the inside every time. For example, the banter between the characters is hilarious and Louis slots in as a perfect foil to Francis's "I HATE EVERYTHING" attitude. My only complaint with the game is that Zoey doesn't seem to have much of a personality, other than being a pretty girl. Set in the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning Left 4 Dead, the 1 co-op game of 2008. In this fun ride, you need to survive a zombie apocalypse in several series-like episodes. ![]() Bill's caustic "Son, we just crossed the street." in response to Louis's positivist disposition just cracks me up. Download for Windows Softonic review Shaun JoosteUpdated 3 years ago An action-packed first person shooter Left 4 Dead 2 is the sequel to the action-packed first-person shooter game released in 2008. L4D1's amazing opening cinematic lays out the premise of the game, as our crack four are attacked by a horde and manage to escape to a terrace. It's cyclical I guess, a lot like the seasons of the year. L4D1/L4D2 helped me out during a really hard time in my life, when I was in-between jobs, and my personal life was in shambles, a lot like today. Plus the 2nd one is harder, with more Special Infected looking to take you out. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of L4D1 and have logged more than 150 hrs+ on the first one, but if the first one was a classic song, the 2nd one is a bangin' New Age remix. ![]() What's better is the fact that you get to experience the first game with the vastly superior gun-play of the 2nd game. The best out there, but the 2nd one is slightly better since you get all the campaigns the first one had PLUS the campaigns/maps from the sequel.
